Review of Frontier(s) (2007) by Bradley M — 16 May 2008
Pretty brutal shit here. Basically a stupid plot about some political "rebels" taking refunge in a hostel near Luxembourg. Turns out this safe haven is run by none other than a family of Nazi crazies.
Like many French horror films, there's no humor involved, just gritty tension. Karina Testa pulled off a believable performance (as unbelievable as the situation was). The last ten minutes should make her a candidate for unforgettable recent horror heroines.
Well done.
