Review of Frontier(s) (2007) by Tristan P — 26 May 2008
FRONTIER(S) takes the standard "group of young people run afoul of a family of crazies" plot and revitalizes it. The violence is brutal and at times uncomfortably grotesque. Samuel le Bihan is menacing as Goetz, but for some reason he's underused.
It's hard to believe the director of this twisted masterpiece went on to make the atrocious HITMAN...
