Review of Frontier(s) (2007) by Kuppov N — 27 May 2009
Apparently Danny Boyle has had as profound an impact on modern-day horror as George Lucas had upon the Sci Fi genre.
Essentially 'Hostel' meets 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre,' this French language film follows the doomed exploits of French teenagers who happen upon a desolate hotel in the French countryside. Gore and revulsion soon follows.
Karina Testa has a late start in this film, and by the end of the film delivers a terrific, haunting performance.
