Review of Frontier(s) (2007) by Stef B — 20 Feb 2010
This movie is entertaining and gory but very unoriginal. It was like an amalgamation of every other horror movie I've seen. There were some cool deaths and it had decent acting but that's about it.
Frontiers has a cheap plot that cuts corners and fills in the blanks with carnage. I love guts and blood but not at the expense of a solid story. On the plus side I'm pretty sure that most of the special effects were handmade, so that's cool.
