It is a strange situation to be conflicted over whether to rate this movie one star or three-and-one-half. This French updating of the story of Sawney Bean (with Nazis) was an unpleasant and basically pointless story that I hated.
On the other hand it is a very well made film with very good acting performances and it did hold my attention from beginning to end even though I was soon revolted by what I was watching. Definitely not for the squeamish.
