Review of From Within (2008) by Hugh C — 06 May 2010
Really doomy and disturbing film. The story was strong enough to keep me guessing until almost the last scene and even when I thought I'd clocked it there was a final sting in the tail that I didn't see coming. The final few shots as the credits roll are really powerful.
The cinematography was exquisitely beautiful in places. That, coupled with fantastic lighting helped to create an atmosphere of impending doom in almost every scene. Good stuff!
