Review of From Russia with Love (1963) by Peter A — 14 Jan 2010
Connery is back in action as 007 in this classic espionage flick. A definite improvement upon Dr. No and one of the best in the franchise. Although slow at parts, the suspense and thrills of Fleming's classic tale is fun to watch.
When you think of James Bond this is the film that shows 007 as we all know him. 007 must steal a Lectre Machine from the Soviets and return home will escaping the Ubernator Grant and the Spectre Organization.
And 007 beats up and old lady too. MISSION SUCCESS.
