Review of From Russia with Love (1963) by Adam E — 04 May 2009
From Russia With Love is one of those rare Bond fiilms which not only ticks all the right boxes of the franchise but also works perfectly well on its own as a tense, compelling thriller. Russians, belly-dancing, gipsy cat-fights, it's got it all.
The pace may be a tad slow but that's not too troublesome when a film is this well constructed. Classic, definitely one of the best Bond films.
