Review of From Russia with Love (1963) by Cody I — 30 Sep 2012
One of Connery's best Bond films, with a wonderful cast. Introduces us to many of the staples of the Bond series including the pre-credits sequence, theme song, Desmond Llewelyn as the excellent Q and the first gadget, as well as nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld and his white Persian cat.
Plenty of action with a craped battle aboard the Orient Express, a helicopter attack and a boat chase, followed by a memorable confrontation with Rosa Klebb.
