Review of From Russia with Love (1963) by Jaime L — 28 Aug 2015
I don't understand why this movie has such praise, it is for the most part silly and boring at the same time. Its only saving point that keeps it positive for me is Sean Connery and his charm and the action sequences in the third act.
The Bond girl was even more useless, pathetic and annoying than the one in Dr. No as well. I'm not a SJW but the misogyny in these films really makes it hard to love these films like their ratings suggest I should.
Female characters are just there to swoon over Bond and have no other purpose which is rather disappointing when the other character beside Bond has no personality of their own.
