Review of From Paris with Love (2010) by Snow T — 23 May 2011
First of all, I'm glad to see Jonathan and John working together as a team. Defenetly that was awesome team work as actors.
Plot: James Reece and Carolina are a couple, that are trying to get compromised on a wedding. But then James get's the news of a new mission with a partner. That partner is Charlie Wax, an USA patriot who will do anything to complete what he started. How this will end? Who is the target in the mission? Interesting story-telling, not a finale that I expected.
Acting: John Travolta did his best acting role ever, he nailed the character. I was surprised by that. He inspires a lot here. Same Jonathan Rhys Meyers as James. He was stunning and bloody fantastic! He has amazing acting skills. Kasia as Carolina was splendit and amazing, same Richard as Ambassador Bennington. Stars for this amazing cast.
Music: It was great, but not that awesome, so, one star for that and the effort made for those who did the score.
To end this review, 3 stars of 5 only. Enjoy and HASTA LA PROXIMA AMIGOS/AS! CHAO! BLESS YOU ALL!!!! PD: Some effects were kinda awful and sometimes the film got slow a bit, but it got rythm. I recommend it to those who enjoy intention in the lines (not violence as action, but action as words).
