Review of From Paris with Love (2010) by Akash Y — 29 Feb 2012
Gratuitously violent, profanity-laden, action-packed film but it was entertaining enough and I liked the plot-twist, so the movie was boderline tolerable; eventhough, I do dislike it when John Travolta plays anything but the "straight-man" because he always portrays villains or rogues so disturbingly effeminate.
But atleast in this film, I had Jonathan Rhys-Meyers to moon over and distract me, plus he actually had good chemistry with Travolta, so a sequel wouldn't be a surprise, given Hollywood's affinity for squeezing blood from a rock and if either actor were desperate enough.
