Review of From Here to Eternity (1953) by Nate T — 15 Nov 2016
Wonderful cast in a film that is almost nothing more than a melodrama at its core. However, the stars elevate the material and that certainly paid off for Frank Sinatra, who won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his work in this film.
Sinatra lobbied hard to play his part and it is easy to see why. Cast is in great form. Thankfully it is on Blu-ray.
