Review of From Hell (2001) by Francisco F — 26 Mar 2009
I suddenly remember about this movie because yesterday Cinemax was playing The Ripper (1997), and I looked it up on Flixster but I found this instead. Since I watched it long time ago then why the heck not give a rating.
And don't ask me why I keep rambling here :s So here's my review. As a detective, Depp's acting was okay, but somehow I keep picturing him as Edward Scissorhands -haha I know, random-. The plot was great, it kept you guessing.
Still, it's not the movie that intrigues me, it's the true story about Jack The Ripper that keeps haunting me. Its brutality is beyond human.
