I really enjoyed this one, hadn't seen it for years and fancied watching it after seeing Sherlock Holmes.
Some of the special effects are a bit ropey, but Johnny Depp's performance cancels this out. I tried to convince my Wife that it was a companion piece to Mona Lisa - i.e. Robbie Coltrane helps his mate out, in a story containing prostitutes- but she wouldn't buy it.
Made me realise how disappointing 'Book of Eli' was. Come on Hughes Brothers, more of this kind of thing!!
