Review of From Hell (2001) by Robert H — 03 Aug 2009

I believe the fact that Jack the Ripper is so well known really hinders this film. It's hard to get into when you already know the story. Sure this film provides one of the many theories behind everything, but haven't we heard them all already?

Set pieces and costumes are nice though I would have liked a little big more grunge.

Generally this is a decent but otherwise forgetable film.
