Review of From Hell (2001) by Adam B — 10 Sep 2012
Actually does the graphic novel some justice. It doesn't make Victorian Whitechapel seem as dark and gritty as the graphic novel does - it just doesn't quite get across how hellish Whitechapel was even before Jack the Ripper came onto the scene.
But apart from that, it stays true to the story, its a decent theory thought up by Alan Moore and at the end of the day, it's about Jack the Ripper, hard not to be slightly intriguing.
