Review of From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter (2000) by Anuczka P — 19 Jul 2008
A Grade-A, Straight-to-Video Action Flick. I'm not a big fan of straight-to-video movies. In fact, I hated 'From Dusk Till Dawn 2'. But, 'From Dusk Till Dawn 3' is a rip-roaring, little action film.
From the looks of it, the film was shot on 16mm, so it's not as slick-looking as a theatrical release, but the camera work and editing are amazing. Director P.J. Pesce really captured the Robert Rodriguez style.
The most amazing action sequence is one featuring an attack on a stage coach, which is very remeniscent of the truck chase, from 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'.
The second act of the movie is a little flawed, but the first half is genius. Highly recommended for action fans.
