Review of From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money (1999) by Leto G — 15 Jul 2007
Here we see a film that tries so hard to emulate the Tarantino style of dialogue but falls so far from the mark that it becomes nothing more than a wannabe with crass dialog and unoriginal style. The biggest problem is that many of the shots are shown from the point of view of an object or person in the movie and it just plain looks rubbish. They were going for a style and that style was crap. Wooden acting, disinteresting story, unimaginative script and boring direction are just a few of the faults. The scale was a lot smaller. I suppose that the ending was quite exciting and there were bloody vampire killings throughout. Overall a standard vampire escapade devoid of flair.
In one word: Standard.
