Review of From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) by Chris M — 19 Nov 2011
This movie was like the tunnel scene from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
The first half of this movie makes you think it's going to be a crime/drama film with the usual badass duo as the main characters. But then at around the 1 hour mark, the film turns into a survival/horror film. It was a good attempt at trying to blend these four genres, but it ultimately fails to do so. It does save itself at the end, however, with the final showdown which includes using holy water guns, a cross gun, and a cross bow. Overall, just something to watch if you're bored on a saturday night. Probably would have been better with some friends as well.
