Review of Fritz the Cat (1972) by Matt M — 15 Mar 2013
The depiction of a world where cops are pigs, blacks are cows, rabbis are lions and cats are guilt-ridden white college students who just want to smoke pot. Set in the 1960's and based on a series of underground comics by Robert Crumb, this is hardly ground breaking and rather tiring with its campy philosophical preaching, which stand as obvious and tasteless attempts at shocking its audience with a broken up and careless storyline.
