Review of Fright Night (2011) by Eytan D — 24 Jul 2013

It's not scary, but neither was the original "Fright Night". However, I find this "Fright Night" to be better than most remakes in that it shows great appreciation for the cult original while finding its place as its own movie.

Thanks to some committed direction by Craig Gillespie, a very witty script by "Buffy" alum Marti Noxon, and terrific performances from all involved (especially Colin Farrell), "Fright Night" balances a healthily gory thrill ride with some truly hilarious humor.
