Review of Fright Night (2011) by Alejandro G — 15 Aug 2013
I have not seen the original, but this remake stands up on it's own. Is it the most original film? Absolutely not. It is, however, head and shoulders above most modern horror remakes and horror films in general.
It's not a very scary film, but it's a very entertaining one. The cast is great, the script is witty, and the characters are relatively well defined. It's funny, it's sexy, it's exciting, and it is surprisingly well made.
