Review of Fright Night (1985) by Gabriel B — 15 Jan 2009
This film was likely inspired by the classic vampire films (Especially Christopher Lee movies from the sixties and seventies), but still resembled the time and mood very well...and with an extremely limited cast!
The Lost Boys is pretty much my favorite eighties vampire film, but Fright Night is definitely right behind it. A true cult classic.
The only problem was Amanda Bearse's 80-year-old haircut.
Tom Holland is a great director, and whoever picked the music for the film was right on the money.
