Review of Fright Night (1985) by Sofia Å — 04 Jan 2010
A sort of slightly sexed up, vampiric, version of Rear Window, this is one of those horror movies that relies more on bad jokes and FX than atmosphere and substance. It's impossible to take Amanda Bearse seriously as a sex kitten -- Married With Children aside, her five-year-old wardrobe is not helping at all.
But hey, if you want to watch a gay porn actor in the making, look out for Stephen Geoffreys...
