Seeing it today,it's a multilayered injection of nostalgia: to '80 flicks, to Hammer flicks... still working good, especially from when Chris Sarandon villain (fully aware of homosexual vampirism implications) and McDowall Vincent Price lookalike enter the scene.
A win-win match made for a fright night!
