Review of Fright Night (1985) by Jonny B — 17 Aug 2011
Campy beyond all measure but this gem from the 80's still holds up. It's comical, atmospheric, and self-aware. The climax is great and without 'Fright Night' may have slipped by as another campy 80's horror movie.
My one complaint is the vampire is not memorable, most horror fans will beg to differ.
