Review of Friends with Money (2006) by Caleb O — 18 Jan 2009
The movie is sharp and funny but it feels unfinished. We never know why Frances McDormand's character has such a large bug up her ass, the conflicts in Catharine Keener's character are never resolved, and the friendship between the presumed gay characters never devlopes into what the audience has in mind for them.
