Review of Friends with Kids (2012) by Tayyab R — 25 Jul 2012
Ironic how impractical and excessively-leading a film that deals with the practical notion of raising a kid and apartment-life in Manhattan could be.
Friends with kids actually had a good script, no doubt. But it also had a predictable plot and had to have a couple of extra loops just to add more entertainment and feign suspense. The environment was tailor-made; extreme enough just to preach the argument of the film. The two leading actors did have good chemistry, but at the same time it makes you glad that Phoebe and Joey never got married at the end of Friends.
