Review of Friends with Kids (2012) by T W — 26 Jul 2012
On the surface, this film is about two vulgar, selfish thirty-something singles who decide to have a baby outside of wedlock and outside of love. What makes the film barely tolerable is its unflinching exploration of parenthood and the marital relationship.
Unfortunately, the supporting cast far outshines the leads here as Adam Scott and Jennifer Westfeldt lack the charisma to carry this film to its full potential.
