Review of Friendly Persuasion (1956) by Anthony S — 03 Jan 2007
William Wyler seems to be comfortable making any kind of movie. This time he takles the Civil War war movie about a bunch Quakers who are anti-violent and don't want to fight but might have too. Powerful and satisfying with Gary Cooper great as always.
