Review of Fried Green Tomatoes (1991) by Mitch M — 08 Dec 2010
An amazing, and emotionally stunning film. Everything about this film is so wonderful and rich. The character development is so beloved, and I have never been so attached to so many chars. The story of Ruth and Idgy is just a beautiful tale, and it has such a heart wretching conclusion.
I found it flawless. You cant even call it over drama becuz there is also comic relief. Kathy Bates is quite funny, and can show the side of a true woman at times. The (possibly) older Igdy is wonderful and rich.
I forgot what they call her though. I will def. see this film numerous times, for it touched my heart. It goes down as one of my favorite films, and most certainly my fave drama. Love (x100) this wonderful film.
10/10.
