Review of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) by Dann M — 20 Aug 2013
In Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter Jason faces his most formidable opponent yet...Corey Feldman. After a rough day at the morgue Jason heads back to Crystal Lake to wipe out a groups of horny teenagers staying at a lodge, but little does he know that the hunter has now become the hunted as the brother of one of his victims has come in search of revenge.
The storytelling's pretty bad and doesn't know which characters to follow or how to integrate them into a cohesive plot. Additionally, the kill scenes aren't that intense or frightening. While it's an ambitious film, Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter fails to deliver the fear and terror that began the series.
