The "Friday The 13th" films were never perfect. While some entries are easily horror classics, some are just plain horrible...possibly none more this one. Kane Hodder is the best Jason ever, but he can't save this turkey.
The title is a complete jipp as Jason doesn't even make it to New York until about 15 minutes to go in the film. The kills are stupid, the special effects fake, the direction absurd, the performances more cardboard than usual.
All of the horror icons suffered at least one bad film (Nightmare 5, the fourth and fifth Halloween, etc.) and this is Jason's most shameful adventure.
