Ok so it's ridiculous cheesy crap and it's overly long, not to mention it is blatant false advertising this is Jason Takes a Cruise-Liner not Manhattan.... But despite all these facts it's perhaps my favourite of the sequels and it is certainly the movie I would show someone as a great introduction to the Jason character.
Over the top poorly acted stupid gory fun all attempts to be anything but a fun popcorn slasher are left behind and what is left is perfect late 80's late night fodder. So so bad that it's brilliant.
