Review of Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989) by Jairo A — 11 Aug 2016
The production style is different to the first seven films, although there is some attempt to continue the storyline. It takes a while for him to get to the Big Apple, and the kills count seems lower too in this movie.
What goes against the ethos of the franchise is the fact that Jason now targets his kills rather than just go for anyone and everyone who he see's. It's a lesser film in the series for it.
