Review of Friday the 13th Part VII - The New Blood (1988) by Keith C — 01 Dec 2007

I want to make one thing clear - I sat through this movie because I knew it ended with Jason getting his ass kicked by a psychic teenage girl. The movie is mostly filler, a lot of "characters" (if you've ever seen a Friday the 13th film you know why I used quotation marks) having sex and getting killed. The director seems to completely lack the ability to develop any suspense, although the set design is kinda neat in parts and they did an excellent job on Jason's costume. But it's a pretty lame exploitation flick for the most part.

And then the ending comes and... it fucking RULES. I'm not saying it was good, it reallyreally wasn't, but it was extremely entertaining. This is a good movie to watch with friends late at night and treat as background noise until the final 15-20 minutes. Just... so effing fun.
