Review of Friday the 13th Part VII - The New Blood (1988) by Jessyca F — 09 Aug 2009
I was never really a big fan of this whole "telekinetic girl" thing, but it actually went better than I expected being a Friday the 13th movie.
The thing that differs this one from the others of the franchise is the focus on the final girl, and this is really what makes a scary movie. The fact you get involved with a character so you actually fear for her/his life. This "relationship" is probably what went missing in other movies from the saga.
Nice Jason movie with an unexpected ending (silly though), but then again, being a Friday the 13th movie, it can get away with it.
