Review of Friday the 13th Part III (1982) by Jess A — 28 Nov 2009
The Third Entry in a series of Over-Rated Horror films. While I'll give it praise that I did find it better than the first two entries and it tries something original with 3D, it quickly loses most of this praise for following every gimick from every slasher film ever made and the 3D feeling out of place and too obviously used as a ploy.
The acting is corny and awful, the characters stock and meaningless, the music typical, and the plot predictable. The introduction of Jason's Iconic mask seems the be the best thing of the film, and while everything in this is slightly better than it was in the first two films, it's still a horror film that fails to impress.
