Review of Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981) by Andy C — 28 Sep 2008

After his mother attempt to stab up every summer camp worker in America while wearing a jumper that makes Freddy Kruger's look like it was the highlight of the Paris catwalks went awry. Jason gives up on having drowned when he was a child (shame he waited till now since it was this that prompted his mum to do all that killing) and continues her murderous work..albeit in a pillow case due to hockey masks not being invented until 1982.

Standard entertaining 80's slasher goodness to be fair but especially worth watching for the following...my 5 Friday 13th part 2 magic moments.

1) A cat quite obviously being thrown in through a window.

2) Jason striking a blow for equality by showing absolutely no quarter to the innocent man in a wheelchair.

3) The moment you'll be able to turn to the person your watching the film with as you both say in disbelief "Did she just piss herself?!".

4) Mrs. Vorhees severed head and most importantly stylish jumpers return and its vital role in saving the day.

5) Marveling at how many times in one movie a build up of tension can be relieved with it turning out to be a pet...just before someone gets stabbed or jumps through a window.
