Review of Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981) by Quin4Thewin — 27 Nov 2020

I think this film is a big improvement from the original. The characters this time around are pretty likable with overall good performances, which differs from the originals boring type characters with mediocre and sometimes bad acting.

The main protagonist, Ginny, is among the best final girls of all slashers and Amy Steel gives a great performance. Jason's inaugural appearance is a decent one. The kills are okay. There are some pretty boring scenes however, and the opening is a bit of a drag.

The movie is pretty good.
