I was 12 and I remember coming up with a film in my mind. I told my younger brother and he loved it. It was âPokà (C)mon in Friday the 13th Part IIâ?. I was not a fan of Pokà (C)mon, but thought it would be great to mix it in with the plot and themes of Friday the 13th Part II.

I forgot how it goes, but every character and animal-monster thingy is killed by Jason Voorhees. Yes, I know thatâ(TM)s really creepy for a 12 or 10 year old to be thinking of that, but I manage to prove to myself that I easily mastered the slasher theme at a young age which brings us to this film, Friday the 13th Part II.

This is a bad film, a really bad film. Friday the 13th Part II is not terribly made or produced, but itâ(TM)s pretty much useless and unnecessary and thatâ(TM)s why I say itâ(TM)s a bad film. You will literally care for no one because youâ(TM)ll be snapping your fingers waiting for the people to start dying.

Body count there is. First, dozens of counselors go into Camp Crystal Lake where half of them stay and the other half go out to party. The first half skinny dip, undress, and have sex with each other, but are slaughtered one by one by Jason Voorhees whoâ(TM)s looking like a member of Ku Klux Klan.

There is a cool scene in the movie where a couple is having sex and is impaled by a spear. I wonder if someone watched Twitch of the Death nerve. Anyways, once the first group is dispatched, the other halves of counselors arrive at the scene, and guess what? Itâ(TM)s their turn to get it, ha, ha, ha.

Sure, slicing and dicing and blood might be great, but where are the scares? Where is the suspense? The problem lies between the characters because we do not care for them since we never get into them.

Thus, this proves that teens are not people in slashers, but things to be tortured and killed for our fun. A nice film isnâ(TM)t. Meanwhile, the men are dispatched while the women are made to suffer and become target practice or game to be hunted.

We have a scene where a girl just stands there crying as we threaten her with the knife thanks to first person view. She cries and stands still. Earlier, the film did not show us anything about her, but did take time to have her examine her panties while wearing another pair of panties (woo-hoo!).

She thinks âwhat pair shall I wear?â? Believe me, itâ(TM)s in there and itâ(TM)s emphasized! Another scene has a close up shot to a girlâ(TM)s booty as she is walking in small shorts. This isnâ(TM)t really important, but it wants us to see her nice butt.

Donâ(TM)t worry; she will go skinny dipping (woo-hoo!). We get a scene with Amy Steele in a bikini (woo-hoo!) and counselors going to swim and undress (2x woo-hoo!). Yes, youâ(TM)re all thinking this is useless and rip off from the first one, so why see it? I donâ(TM)t know maybe because you have love for these kinds of film.

Well, to be honest, Amy Steele is the only one we are given a chance to connect as she gives us theories behind the idea of Jason being alive. She comes up with motivations which sound pretty dumb, but they actually work.

Yes, this nonsense becomes logical and works well when she battles Jason. However, letâ(TM)s move on before I spoil anything. Jason manages to come back and kills a number of counselors each in a violent, but censored way.

Yes, the film is heavily edited thanks to MPAA and the moral panic that struck America in 1980. There is blood and a few slits, but it feels to tone down for my taste. The special effects are very average and there is a reason for that.

The factor is the absences of special effects wizard Tom Savini. He was working for the film The Prowler or The Burning at the time, so thatâ(TM)s why you donâ(TM)t see any of the signature life like gore.

They took Tom Savini, so the film takes The Prowlerâ(TM)s weapon, the pitchfork. Anyways, despite filmâ(TM)s absence of suspense, thereâ(TM)s only synthetic suspense, meaningless purpose, and retread plot, the first oneâ(TM)s ending is actually in here, Friday the 13th Part II is a fun spectacle.

Yes, there are a lot of faults and error in the film, but I had a lot of fun watching this bad film. The dialogue, the interaction, the hot kinky sex, and their demise really satisfied me not to mention the laughs I had.

Friday the 13th Part II is what is and this flick earns a special part in my hear.
