I never fall asleep during a movie unless it is really bad. Well I started to fall asleep past the middle of this film. The whole film is just the main characters hanging around their neighborhood dealing with their problems.

The beginning of the film is funny. Chris Tucker is funny and so is Tommy Lister as Deebo. But as the film goes on things get less and less funny and the film becomes dull. I understand what they were trying to do with this film.

It was sort of meant to be done like clerks, relying heavily on dialogue. Well there is no problem with that type of movie except when the dialogue isnt strong for the whole film, like in Friday. Thus you can watch it if you like chris tucker, just be aware that this film is the lowest example of a B movie.
