Review of Frida (2002) by Vivienne C — 21 Sep 2008
Salma Hayek is only women I know that can pull off a unibrow. But more importantly, she does an amazing job playing the complex character of Frida Kahlo. Probably one of the best biopics I've ever seen.
And the star cameos in THIS ONE! Antonio Banderas is on for like two minutes, Edward Norton is on for like ONE, I don't know WHERE the heck Diego Luna appeared but apparently he did-- not to mention Rush and Judd and all sorts of people.
Jeez. Best things in this movie: plot: stellar. music: awesome. acting: amazing.
