Review of Frida (2002) by Jenevieve H — 04 Jan 2010
Overly romantic at times maybe, but Julie Taymore treated the subject brilliantly and her artistry and passion complimented the personality of the main character so well. Salma Hayek played the part flawlessly and Alfred Molina actually made Diego's sexual allure and artistic power believable.
I've watched this movie ten times and I'll probably watch it ten more.
