Review of Frida (2002) by Ubaid K — 04 Jun 2008
I had high hopes for this movie, alas. The script and the acting feel like an amateur play. It has some great sequences, particularly the animation by the Brothers Quay, as well as parts that incorporate and animate Frida's paintings.
Unfortunately it had very little passion for a movie about someone who was all about passion.
