Review of Frequency (2000) by Jasen M — 28 Aug 2009
I had doubts about this movie when someone recommended it to me a few months back. But I must say that the storyline itself is quite a unique one. Using a transistor radio to communicate between the past and future between a son and his now deceased father to help his father avoid the fatal mistakes of the past, really caught my attention. Its unique storyline combined with its high octane moments will certainly keep a viewer on the edge of their seat wondering "and then?".
The story flows smoothly throughout the film, though near the end it begins to lose a little steam before its major climax. But never once while watching did I ask myself "wait, what?" All the pieces and actors really hold their own here, and if your a movie buff who's into sci-fi and adventure with a side trip of mystery, this is the film for you. I give this film 4 stars.
