Review of Frenzy (2015) by Michael Y — 21 Apr 2010
Hitchcock returns to England after a very long absence stateside. Liked the elements of British humor sprinkled throughout the movie. Has many of the thematic elements common to most of Hitchcock's greatest works (e.g. "Wrong Man", "Pychotic killer", disbelieving police, etc.).
Unlike many of Hitchcock's previous works, in "Frenzy", Hitchcock was finally able to show elements which would not have passed censorship earlier, including nudity.
Good cinematography in the movie, including a memorable "reverse tracking shot" depicting a off-screen murder that is being executed.
