Review of Frenzy (1972) by Louis D — 23 Dec 2007
Through the combination of less discrete brutality and sexuality, Frenzy places itself as one of Hitchcock's most violent films. This whodunnit about a serial rapist strangling girls with various neckties often departs from subtlety, allowing Hitchcock to pay respect to the giallo films that were a result of his own inspiration.
