Review of Frenzy (1946) by David P — 11 Nov 2007
A rare return to Britain after Hitchcock moved on to Hollywood. I just saw this film last night on the AMC channel. It was a well executed story, and good cinematography, especially when the camera pulls back on the street full of unsuspecting passerbys as the third murder is taking place in the apartment above.
Having only really seen a few of his late period movies (several of his other ones), this one stands out, especially compared the horrid, and unfortunately final Hitchcock film, Family Plot.
